This project was developed in collaboration with an interior design studio (Martini and Partners), where Valecasa was responsible for the custom production and execution of all furniture elements. Designed as an ocean-inspired children’s room, the concept is translated into built-in furniture that balances playfulness, safety, and long-term functionality. Soft curves, integrated storage, and a compact bunk bed system are carefully adapted to the proportions of the space, creating a room that feels both engaging and calm.
All furniture was custom-built in Indonesia and shipped to Prague, requiring precise coordination between design, production, and installation. Each element was developed with built-in installation tolerances and adjustment allowances, ensuring a seamless fit on-site despite international manufacturing. Supported by detailed technical documentation from our R&D team, including measurements, assembly guidelines, and installation references, the system was designed to be accurately assembled without compromise. Every component fits as intended, reflecting both craftsmanship precision and logistical reliability.
A key focus of the project is material safety and finishing, essential for a children’s environment. All surfaces were treated with a water-based, child-safe coating system (Propan hygiene-grade finish), ensuring low emissions and suitability for everyday use. Material selection prioritizes durability and comfort, combining engineered wood structures with soft-touch finishes and rounded edges to enhance both safety and longevity.
This project reflects Valecasa’s ability to support design studios through high-quality custom furniture production, translating creative concepts into precise, buildable solutions, even across continents.
